This 1940s chronograph, a gold monopusher with Breguet hands, is powered by the Valjoux 23 calibre. Upon arrival, its movement showed damaged plating, oxidised steel parts, and several defective components.

The restoration required a complete overhaul: de-plating, hand-applied perlage and Geneva stripes, rhodium plating, cleaning and satin-finishing of steel parts, and replacing screws and worn elements.

The result is spectacular: from a dull, damaged mechanism emerged a calibre shining with brilliance, enhanced by its decoration. A true horological resurrection.
