Jaeger-LeCoultre – Restoration of a classic wristwatch

Despite their discreet size, these ladies’ watches from the 1930s showcase the artistry of miniature watchmaking. True jewels, they combine mechanical precision with feminine elegance, featuring yellow or white gold cases, sometimes adorned with small diamonds.

Among them is a Jaeger-LeCoultre from 1935, in 18k yellow gold (23 × 11 mm), with a silvered dial and Arabic numerals, housing the calibre 29. A charming originality: the crown positioned under the case for winding and setting the time.

Other calibres of the same era testify to this ingenuity: JLC 29 (20 × 8.40 mm), JLC 426/2 (12.6 mm), Audemars Piguet AP 2430 (12.6 mm), and JLC 496 (15 mm).

True technical jewels where watchmaking and jewellery meet with elegance.
